In 3D Studio Max 9 I exported a model as TVA. In ModelView I load it up and put on a directional light and then set the lighting on the model to tangentspace. I noticed the normals are out of whack in certain places.

However, if I export a directx (using tv3d skin) binary compressed the normals show up perfectly.

This is just what I visibly see and I just discoverd this now. So I will do more research.

I think it has been addressed in the recent tangent frame changes.
