Bug #674: Vehicle: Wheels always have the same physics mater
Product:
TV3D SDK 6.5
Language:
Visual Basic.NET
Current State:
In Progress
Resolution:
Confirmed
Created On:

Last Modified:

Reported By:

Method 'SetVehicleWheelMaterialGroup' doesn't work wheels just inherit material from chassis. If chassis has no material defined by user, they use default material. The order of calling methods does not matter.

PS. This is just a minor bug - it's possible to make great car physics without this method.

For now, If I remember well, you must enable events on these materials so that it works. Could you try that ?

No, I haven't. I'll try this next week.

I have been working on the Vehicle Physics Tutorial now for a while, Is there any way you might be including seperate wheel physics material to the chassis.

I would likw to see mainly if i set my friction levels for the tyres to stick to the road, i don't want my chassis sticking also it should slide
more.

Anyway, I am getting on fine without the function but it sould be nice.

Thanks
