Bug #577: GetEffectParamBoolean error
Product:
TV3D SDK 6.5
Language:
Visual Basic.NET
Current State:
Closed
Resolution:
Fixed
Created On:

Calling TVShader.GetEffectParamBoolean on an intialized, up-and-running shader gives me an AccessViolationException with the message : "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt."

The parameter exists and is initialized in the shader to "true". I am using ps/vs_3_0 if this makes any difference...

Code :
mShader.SetEffectParamBoolean("dispersion", Not mShader.GetEffectParamBoolean("dispersion"))

HLSL (shader-global) :
bool dispersion = true;
