Bug #488: TVInputEngine: Mouse lacks button event buffer
Product:
TV3D SDK 6.5
Language:
Not Specified
Current State:
New
Resolution:
Unconfirmed

TVInput.GetKeyBuffer() exists but it only traps keyboard events.

There is no corresponding mechanism for processing mouse buttons between frames. This can make Mouse Picking problematic as well as general game actions where the mouse buttons are used as a "shoot" button for instance.

EXPECTED:
All mouse button presses made by the user should be accessible by the application for processing.
Following is an msdn article describing how to do it via DirectInputDevice.GetDeviceData() TV3D should wrap that process and give us the mouse button equivalent of GetCharBuffer()

I'm not sure if the mouse x,y coordinates should also be provided for each event or whether thats even possible.
